Pastor Jeff & Courtney Haddon

Pastor Jeff and Courtney Haddon both grew up right here in the area and attended Trinity as children and teens.  They met in youth group at the age of 15 and began dating immediately. Not long after, they knew God had a call on their lives for ministry.  Upon graduating from Grand Blanc High School (Pastor Jeff) and Clio High School (Courtney), they got married in 2004 and had their first child.  But that’s where the fairy tale ended.

Quickly into their marriage and the start of a family, the devil began to attack any plans of ministry.  Marital strife, financial ruin, and all the world has to offer quickly took over.  Over the course of 6 years, enough was enough. After the birth of their 3rd child they hit rock bottom.  With nowhere to go but up, they returned to the only thing they knew that could lend any chance of hope for the future…Jesus!

It was there they ran to God to find out He was waiting the whole time.  Diving back into Trinity with both feet, they quickly found the call into ministry was still alive as well.  God reconciled their marriage, and their finances, and this began a new chapter in their lives, chasing after God instead of what the world has to offer.  Courtney had opened her own business in the middle of the struggle, and quickly after returning to God and getting serious about tithing, her business quickly grew into a blessing never dreamed.  Jeff had gotten a job in a warehouse for an automotive supplier, and again, after returning to God and getting serious about tithing, he quickly rose through the corporation to become a production manager at a stamping plant.  While achieving success by the world’s standards, more was to be desired, and God asked Jeff to walk away from it all and finally enter the ministry.  They both attended Michigan School of Ministry, and both received ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God.

Currently, you can find both Jeff and Courtney either with their kids or loving on the lost.  The life experiences they once had as regrets, now help them to relate to so many that are going through the same things.  Jeff is humbled for the opportunity to serve in his home church as Outreach Pastor & Business Administrator.  Courtney still owns and operates her business with biblical standards, loving on customers and employees alike.
